I work in the NHS and private practice as a Perinatal Clinical Psychologist supporting people who have found their journey to becoming and in being parent, more difficult and stressful than they had anticipated or hoped it would be. I work with people who have developed anxiety, depression, and/or PTSD as a result of trauma and difficulties in trying to conceive or undergoing fertility treatment, and through baby loss, pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. These difficult experiences may cause you to struggle straight away or could surface when you are planning for another baby or are pregnant again. I also support systems and staff to understand the impact they have on their patients and clients to reduce avoidable trauma and emotional distress for people in the perinatal period. I am passionate about preventing distress and supporting people to access help when they need it. Offering 1:1 therapy, therapeutic groups, and online courses (coming soon), I hope you find an option that is accessible and affordable for you.
